Refunding your customers

As a merchant, you have the option to refund an order. On the order’s detail page, you’ll see a section on the top right to input the amount you wish to refund. This amount will be in the same fiat currency as selected in your merchant account, while your customers will still be refunded in the cryptocurrency they used to pay.

​Once you propose the refund, the status changes and your customer will receive an email from xMoney with the next steps needed to receive the refund.

​Once your customer completes the process on their side, and all transactions are confirmed on the blockchain, the refund will be complete. You’ll be informed by email and the refund section will be updated for your reference.

Important note: As a merchant, you have the ability to process refunds within a timeframe of three months after the order is paid. Beyond this period, alternative arrangements must be made with the customer for the refund. Furthermore, only one refund per order is possible.
