Bill and Payment Currency Configuration

Bill configuration details, minimum/maximum values for bills and refunds per currency/network, and additional information.

Updated over a month ago

Bill configurations overview:

  • The maximum amount supported for bill payment varies according to the currency and network chosen.

  • Default bill expiration timer:

    • For an eCommerce integration: 2h

    • For an invoice: 6 months

  • Merchant refunds can be triggered by merchants up to 3 months after the payment has been confirmed.

1 - This is the time for which we lock the selected currency’s exchange rate to allow you enough time to transfer funds and pay your bill. Once it ends you can refresh this rate and try again as long as your bill still hasn’t expired (2 hours in eCommerce and 6 months on invoices).

2 - If your bill expiration is under these times the respective currencies will not be available (E.g. If you let your bill expiration timer get to under 40 minutes, you will not be able to pay using Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, but you can pay using the Lightning network).

3 - The minimum refundable amount is the least amount of funds that xMoney Crypto can refund a buyer. This value is directly tied to the network’s transfer costs and subject to change due to ever changing transfer costs. More expensive networks require a higher minimum refundable amount to ensure that a refund transfer fee won’t exceed the refund amount.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The funds will be permanently lost if the currency AND network do not match those supported in the xMoney payment widget.
