xMoney Rewards

Updated yesterday

How it works

xMoney Rewards is a built-in loyalty program designed to give merchants additional value from the payout fees they already pay. Each time a payout is processed, xMoney automatically allocates a portion of the payout fee to buy XMN tokens on the merchant’s behalf. These tokens accumulate in the Rewards section of the dashboard and become available for withdrawal once they pass a short lock period.

Reward tiers

The percentage of the payout fee allocated to XMN is not fixed, it scales up based on your rolling 30-day net volume. The more volume you process, the higher the share of your fee that gets converted into rewards.

Important notes

  • The reward percentage is applied only to the settlement fee amount, not to the payout amount itself.

  • Basic and Plus tiers do not have a monthly cap, since the merchant tier adjusts automatically based on rolling volume.

  • Prime tier has a monthly rewards cap of €2,500.

How monthly volume is calculated

Your reward tier is based on your net volume (payments minus any refunds or cancelled transactions) over a 30-day window.

What xMoney Rewards does

Whenever you receive a payout, a percentage of the payout fee is used to automatically purchase XMN. The amount of XMN you receive depends on the market price at the time of purchase. These tokens are added to your rewards balance and shown clearly in your dashboard.

Rewards are initially locked for up to three months, after which they unlock automatically. Once unlocked, they move into the “Unlocked” section of your balance and can be withdrawn to your wallet whenever you choose.

Why rewards are locked

A short lock period helps ensure the reward system remains fair, predictable and aligned with the long-term health of the ecosystem. It prevents short-term extraction while still giving merchants meaningful value from their payout activity.

Your dashboard shows exactly when each reward batch was created and when it will unlock. You can also view progress indicators and detailed information for each upcoming unlock to keep track of your schedule.

Withdrawing your rewards

As soon as a reward batch reaches its unlock date, the XMN becomes fully available. You can withdraw unlocked rewards directly to your preferred wallet.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Does this reduce the amount I receive in payouts?

No. Rewards are calculated based on your settlement fee amount, but your payout amount and fee amount remain unchanged.

How do I know which tier I’m on?

Your current tier is visible in the Rewards section of your dashboard.

What happens if my volume drops below a tier threshold?

Your tier is recalculated on a rolling basis. If your net volume falls below a threshold, your tier adjusts accordingly for future payouts. Rewards already earned at a higher tier are not affected.

Why can’t I withdraw my entire balance immediately?

The lock period is part of the reward model for merchants that stay with us and typically lasts up to three months. During this time, your XMN will appear as “Locked.” Once the countdown is complete, it moves to “Unlocked” and can be withdrawn.

What happens if I stop using xMoney?

Any unlocked XMN remains fully withdrawable. Locked XMN will continue to unlock according to their schedule, even if no new payouts occur.

Can I opt out of the programme?

Yes. If you prefer not to receive rewards, contact support. Any XMN you have already earned will remain yours.

Does XMN have a fixed value?

No. XMN is a token, and like most digital assets, its price may fluctuate over time. Your rewards value will always reflect the market price of the token at that time.
