Following the latest guidelines from EU authorities in relation to stablecoins, we are making changes to the availability of non-MiCA compliant stablecoins within our services to comply with regulatory requirements.
As part of this transition, USDT settlements (USDT/Ethereum, USDT/Polygon and USDT/TRON) will no longer be available.
This change ensures compliance and allows us to provide a future-proof, regulatory-friendly payment experience.
MiCA compliant stablecoins pairs, such as USDC on Ethereum and Polygon networks remain available and unchanged.
Key Dates & Changes:
February 12, 2025
xMoney Crypto will restrict the availability of USDT settlements for new sign-ups or as a settlement option for existing merchants.
End of February
Any merchants with pending USDT settlements who haven’t selected a new currency will be automatically switched to USDC settlement.
March 31, 2025
Final date for settling all accumulated USDT payouts. If this date doesn’t match the end of your settlement cycle, we will force the closure of the settlement.
What This Means for You:
Seamless Transition: If you are currently set up for USDT settlements, we’ve already reached out to guide you through the transition. If you haven’t responded, your settlements will default to USDC. You can still change your preferred settlement currency at any time.

New Settlement Option: USDC on Polygon will be available soon, adding even more flexibility for our merchants.
Continued Compliance: xMoney Crypto remains fully aligned with MiCA regulations, ensuring uninterrupted service and regulatory compliance for all merchants.

If you have a customer who wants to complete a payment using USDT with xMoney Crypto anytime soon, we recommend you to get in touch with your customers to complete the payments at their earliest convenience, as xMoney Crypto won’t be accepting USDT starting March 24.
